5.- Who will contribute the money for the Green Climate Fund?

The Green Climate Fund was created to finance preventive activities or the consequences of the effects of Climate Change. It aims to raise US $ 100 billion per year from 2020 to support developing countries in addressing climate change adaptation and mitigation needs. It has been argued that the most industrialized countries are the ones who contribute most of the funds, but may also come from the private sector.
