The spaces of COP26
COP26 Blue Zone
Space destined to the realization of the Climate Summit and administered directly by the United Nations. Conferences and negotiations are held here between member countries attending the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26). Also to the 16th meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP16) and 3rd meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA 3). Only organizations, agencies, media and non-profit observer organizations accredited for the Convention participate. In this area there are also the Special Pavilions and the Parallel Events areas of the official agenda.
SEC Scottish Event Campus

The SEC Scottish Events Campus of Glasgow is the venue that will host COP26 in 2021. This campus has three main buildings, two of them emblematic of the SEC in Glasgow, the SEC Armadillo and The SSE Hydro. In addition, the SEC Centre venue has five interconnected exhibition spaces, which give the facilities the possibility of very flexible spaces that adapt to any requirement for meetings.
SEC Armadillo
The SEC's flagship conference space, the "SEC Armadillo," offers the perfect recipe for meeting success. One of Glasgow's most beloved venues with a 1,183 to 3,000-seat auditorium and adjacent group spaces.
SEC Center
The SEC Center, formerly known as SECC, offers five interconnected meeting and exhibition rooms with a combined area of over 22,000 square meters
The SSE Hydro
The SSE Hydro is Scotland's home of live entertainment, ranked in the top 10 busiest venues in the world. Designed to host a wide range of events, it is an icon of the Glasgow skyline.
COP26 Green Zone
Glasgow Science Centre is the official venue for the COP26 Green Zone. COP26 is the crucial United Nations climate change conference taking place in Glasgow in November 2021.
The Green Zone is where the public, civil society, Indigenous Peoples, youth groups, charities, academics, artists and businesses can have their voices heard at COP26, through an extensive programme of events, workshops, talks and exhibitions that promote dialogue, awareness, education and commitments.
From 1-12 November, the COP26 Green Zone will be open to the public at Glasgow Science Centre, both in-person and online, with over 200 events.

The COP26 presidency program shows the momentum of the whole of society, and focuses on key issues to drive ambition and action. The progress of the negotiations will be the focus of the summit.
